Privacy

Anonymous use

Every protocol works without an account. Completed runs, daily-drill status, and preferences stay in this browser's local storage. CSV export and the in-app clear control remain available while signed out.

Optional account sync

If you create an account, Splitframe stores your display name, email address, a password hash, session hashes, and the completed run records you sync. Passwords are not stored in plain text. Signing out does not erase the local copy; clearing browser history does not erase the account copy.

You can delete the account and all server-synced runs from the account panel after confirming the password. Browser-local history remains under your control and can be removed with the in-app clear control.

Timing data

A synced run contains its protocol, timestamps, round outcomes, reaction times, false starts, and decision errors. It does not contain raw pointer coordinates, key names beyond the protocol response, or a continuous activity trace.

Advertising

Advertising is off today: Splitframe does not load an ad network, set advertising cookies, or show an active sponsor placement. If advertising is introduced later, it will use manually placed units only on the standalone testing guide—not in a timed protocol, result or history area, account panel, export flow, or any checkout.

Any provider code that requires consent will remain disabled until a certified consent-management platform is configured for the visitor's region and this notice identifies the provider, purposes, retention, and controls. Declining optional consent will not prevent access to the tests or guide.

Operations

The public server may retain ordinary access and error logs for reliability and abuse prevention. Account and run data should be retained only while the sync service is offered or as required to resolve support and security issues.
